Blade : 72cm. Razor sharped. Hand-forged in high carbon steel and
differentially tempered, using the traditional claying method to
produce a hardness of HRC60 at the edge and HRC40 on the
back (Mune).
Handle : 27,5 cm. The Tsuka is wrapped in a genuine ray skin with a
Tsuka-ito of Japanese cotton.
Scabbard : The saya is finished in black and the sageo is
woven in black Japonese cotton.
Very stongly built to withstand the rigours of cutting exercises
(Tameshigiri).
